Kurassier or Jaeger zu Pferde Officer Spike for Sale

Offered for sale is a hard to find on the loose Spike for a Kurassier or Jaeger zu Pferde Officer Helmet. The spike is in good condition. It appears to have a gold color wash or old paint surface to it, which seems to look different from the finish I would expect to see on one of these Cavalry...

another thing like that, apparently there are a lot of helmets in England

100% Horse Manure, made in the UK in the past 30-40 years time. They all have modern era made metal parts, and the helmet body and liners are all modern made as well. There is a TON of them out there. BEWARE!

    Mexican Pickelhaube Question!

Hello, I can clearly see that the entire helmet body, liner, and fittings are 100% modern era made in the United Kingdom Fake/Replica helmet, with the possible exception of the Mexican eagle style front plate, and possibly the Mexican kokarde might be original. But I have serious doubts about...

    A lot of fakes... Australia

Rob is correct. These all appear to be the notorious "Made in the United Kingdom" helmets from the 1980's or 1990's era, with all of the same tell-tale signs. Milestone Auctions sold one of these hideous "made in the U.K." Hessen helmets this past summer, and someone paid $1,000.00 for it...
