Looks like a fireman's helmet with a bunch of junk and costume jewelry on it....

What I would question is why there are no ventilation holes in this helmet? German engineering is very particular and there is often a vent hole on pretty much all of there headgear (except maybe pelzmutzes). The vent holes were designed to dissipate heat or relieve pressure from artillery...

I believe this is probably a repo Feldzeichen, and the price it went for is astounding! Anyways, I have some real ones and if I ever sell them, I'm gonna ask $2500 a piece for them....I don't get it....:oops::rolleyes...
