    More Manufacturing Photos

Depending on the wheels mounted on this tool, it can be used for several different functions. Trimming, beading, crimping

    Early Hannoverian Uhlan document (1827)

The British army took Dragoon regiments (a Dragoon got paid less than a cavalry man) and made them into Light Dragoons. Some of these were then converted into Hussars and Lancers. Given Hanover's close association with Britain they may have followed this same practice. Hanover is the reason...

    Danish officers helmet

Sorry, but no - I've reached age where I'm very limited in what I collect (usually new medications).

Permanently banned - what did I do?

Thanks - today all appear well. I notice the New Postings no longer carrying everything. It was funny, I was reading the postings clicked on a link to ebay in one of the postings and the site would not allow me back in.

HR 17 totenkopf and banderol, needed.

Sachsen Landwehr-Infanterie-Brigade Nr. 63 (Dresden) XII Armee Korps

It just occurred to me that I was only 26 years old in 1986. Funny how I call the seller a “young guy” when so was I! Recently had a disagreement with an old guy at the local Legion Post. Claimed he was a Viet Nam vet, I said, "BS - I remember that war, they were all young guys."

HR 17 totenkopf and banderol, needed.

I've found that listing something as a gift is a red flag to Customs. I'll usually list as "used parts".

Nice set, I agree with you about the paint. I've learned the hard way, "if you don't know, leave it a lone'".

    Re-Enactment Photos

As a reformed re-enactor I can see some pros and some cons. There is a lot that can be learned through re-enacting, but then again - - -
