Helmet shows very little signs of service. Nicely stamped Imperial Eagle with clear and sharp features.much better quality than those fitted on many ersatz I have seen.

Dear All Not a rare helmet but one in great condition with complete original features. Many of those pickelhaubes around but good ones are astonishingly quite difficult to come across. All fittings are sprayed in metal grey and all match, including the removable spike. Great interior regiment...

Hi Tim_be It may well be but for some reasons I have a doubt. In the Prussian army, those colours would be for an husaren regiment. The only difference is the absence of piping on the crown...😬 Best
