With the exception of the cockades this is one nice looking basic infantry helmet pre 1915. The chinstrap looks good to me and if it wasn't original then I have no idea what original means anymore. Great example!

That depends. To say that a helmet is only worth one price doesn't make much sense, you have to factor in condition, fittings and stamps in the case of EM helmets. M15s are very popular and I have seen these go for various prices. Also this helmet with its stamps is very rare and with that stamp...

I think this helmet is totally legit. The stamp RBA18 with a Garde eagle would represent Eisenbahn-Regt. Nr.2 (Hanau) XVIII Amry Corp. in my opinion its a nice M15 Eisenbahn helmet.

i think this one was older or before 1895 looking at the height of the helmet. original? i am not sure. yes you could say the skull is powerful. the symbol is one of the only symbols that passed from the Kaiserzeit onto the III Reich.
