My 4 and 3 medal spangen, with feldspangen. The 2 medal spangen. The single medals, as a set, but also with doubles. Even more doubles, and 2 wappen's, one with the crown taken off, probably done after 1918. I have another display case too, filled with English, French and Belgium medals, and...

This one came to me today.

Well Amy, I am single since 1992. Unfortunately my French girlfriend died in an accident, when she left on a visit to her uncle's birthday. I couldn't get the day off at work, so she went alone. She never arrived though, she stopped at file, behind a lorry. The lorry which was behind her saw...

Thanks Dane and Francis! It gives me great pleasure doing my best to bring ém back! I am in no way a restorer, but hey, I do what I can for them. Now it sits with its other M95 buddy's. 5 of them now, and 10 M15's. My goal is to get even more, but I do need to fill my bank-account up for it...

This one came to me today.

Thanks Dane! It came without the wappen, kokarden and chinstrap, but the wappen I already had, just like the kokarden. I had to solder some loops on the wappen, as these were missing, but that turned out okay!

This one came to me today.

Well, before the 1905 stamp is indeed IR74. In fact, the helmet is complete now, with a set of original kokarden, which I bought from James quite a while ago. As I am still on the lookout for an original chinstrap, I fitted an aged replica one for now.

    help with ID of bayonet

https://www.cm1940.nl/product/swiss-schmidt-rubin-sawback-bayonet-model-1914/ It is Swiss made, but I think somebody altered the pommel, so it would fit on another rifle. I own a Schmidt Rubin rifle too. But not the bayonet for it though.

    Age of Kings

I agree with that, you see On Hold when the helmet is in your shopping cart, and only when it is bought, you see Sold.

    Handwriting inside Helmet

Yes, it sure would. But that's the result of the Photobucket disaster. Many of my pictures have been not available since, thanks to them.

Brand New to This Forum - need some expert input

It is a very nice, and original M95 helmet! What's more important, the chinstrap is also an original one. The rear visor needs some stitching, as I can see, which can be done, but anyway, it is still a nice original helmet! That larger Kokarde alone would fetch quite a lot of dollars, so this...

Brand New to This Forum - need some expert input

Well, all 3 are original, so not pieced together helmets, only the larger kokarde, which is also original by the way, on the M1895, shouldn't be there. Then again, that kokarde alone is quite rare to find nowaday's. That said, all look perfectly fine by me. All are nice original helmets.
