Thank you for all the kind words. I like all Pickelhaubes and I am a hoarder. Yes, there are many variants of the helmet liners. Some of them are M1895 while some M1915. Some are cork while some are felt covered with cloth. Very interesting to be able to compare them.

One just arrived today and went to check thinking that I have 2 others, turned out I have 4 others. Not all have a rear spine. Some have ersatz chinstrap while some have leather ones. The cloth covering the helmet is either a whole piece or divided into 3 or 4 segments. Nice to have them...

Sometimes, I wonder where had my few helmets that never arrived landed up? It said in transit and both ends post office have no idea where the item is.

Believe it or not, we don't have antiques shops in singapore. Here anything that is 10 years old is considered antiques. We used (now permanently shut) to have a daily flea market where I found a good fake Ww2 Diving helmet which I bought it and sold for a profit.
