M15 Prussian Ulan Tschapka enlisted pattern with Rabatte

I recently acquired this nice Prussian M15 Tschapka with the parade Rabatte. The chinstrap is a copy/replica. I found it in the antique shop, along with the Prussian M95 Guard enlisted pattern pickelhaube.

No extra holes, and the original metal grommet rings are intact. 1915 dated, and maker mark of Alexander Dahl, Barmen, is clearly visible inside. The leather liner is in nice shape, with no dry rot or tears. I will shoot photos of the interior and add them.

Beautiful and strange combination, the M15 was introduced I thought after the parade rabatte was discarded , so very unusual combination, maybe put together? Anyway a paraderabatte is very hard to find, and a enormous plus to any tschapka!

Yes, it is strange to see this. I was surprised to find the rabatte on this M15 tschapka. It is the first rabatte that I have found.

Yes, it's not often you find a Kriegsfertigung model with its parade flap!But I'm not too surprised because:
---This Tchapka isn't the true M15, but:
---Either the M95, whose brass or nickel silver fittings were replaced after April 1915 with iron fittings
---Or the M15 from April to September, because the true M15 model has a crest-platform

There is only a 1915 date inside the helmet, and the maker mark of Alexander Dahl, of Barmen. I do not see any other earlier marks or dates inside of this tschapka. The metal grommet rings for the wappen attachment are iron/steel, and not brass.

I will see if I can take photos of the interior. I'll have to take it off of the hat stretcher/resizer device.
