    Well done, Amy. This grandpa is truly handsome, and you don't see many like it. The particular rounded metal shinscaled is unique to the Grand Duchy of Baden. I've never seen a spike attachment like that.

    Another one from my italian collection: Mod. 1902 complete uniform of a Brigade General of the Alessandria Brigate ( infantry regiment n. 155th and 156th). The Alessandria Brigade was founded on march 1, 1915 and disbanded on novembre 1918 at the end of the ww1.

    The set includes the cap with white cotton canvas cover , the kepi complete with white cotton cloth and the service cap. Alle the headgears comes with their old cardboard box. Nice piece of history.

    This is a Mod. 1879 uniform of a leutnant of the 127th Infantry regiment. The light bleu cloth band was only for officers in parade or cerimonial duty. The colour light bleu was the specific colour of the Hause of Savoy, the sovereign of Italy.

    I love the unteroffiziere uniform also. The unteroffiziere tressen are for sure a plus. Expecially I love the romboidal geometric peculiar tressen for the prussian garde.
