I've had this one for many years but had it in hand the other day and since it's so beautifully marked I'd like to share some pictures. It's a nice feldgrau Prussian buckle retaining almost all of its paint. The belt is marked two times: IR 14 II Batl. And: II/IR 14 6.K.9 There's another...

    Battle damaged Württemberg Haube

Considering the damage to the "disc" under the spike and how it was bent, I would say it came in there and left through the side.

    Felt saxon

Here the holes in the top. Seems to be created by hand. Not a single one is completely round as it should be.

This one just arrived today from the US. Was the first time buying overseas and was a bit uncertain about taxes and so on but turner out to be manageable. It's a Saxon felt artillery helmet. I like Artillerie Hauben and i found this really cool straight away. The liner is really smooth and...

    Saxon "ersatz" troop helmet

There are a lot of Saxons showing up the last couple of weeks. I like that. No issue with this one. The cockades had a tough time but a rare and complete helmet all in all. You bought it from Francesco? :)
