    How do you 'collect'?

My way to collect is pretty simple. I'm looking for anything in connection with the regiments of my hometown: IR 82, RIR 91 and RIR 234. Most I got is about IR 82, of course. But I just started collecting so there's much more to find. I couldn't even get a prussian Pickelhaube yet. But there a...

I guess it's misspelled and means Kanatlarci (not Ganatlarci)!

    A different perspective–very clear photography

I always wondered what it must have been like in 1919, 1920, 1921 to stand on the abandoned battlefields. This brings me a little bit closer, but it's still hard to imagine.

I need advice on some organization

I just tested it and watched what has been uploaded yet. I didn't care about the tags until now and just watched what there was coming, when I found something on flickr. I guess the tags just have to expand and then it's a great way to search and find.

I need advice on some organization

Sounds like a lot of work. My photos are totally messed up, too. Only those of IR 82 are numbered so I can find what I'm looking for. Joe, good luck and endurance. I'm looking forward to anything you'll present...

    Die Tagebuchaufzeichnungen von Ernst Jünger

Exactly! It contains several parts, which are pretty hard to read. One example: he saw an english soldier behind the english trench, maybe 600m from his position. He grabbed the rifle of one of his men, aimed and shot that soldier. Reading between the lines you can find the pride of his...

    Reservist at Christmas

I found this one and hoped to get a nice picture of an IR 82 soldier. So I was a little bit disappointed when I held it in my hand and realized it's a guy of RIR 82. Then I watched the details. You can see some branches of a christmas tree on the left and in the background that branch with some...
