Any suggestions for cleaning? I don’t want to damage of de-value it if possible. Any idea how much these go for if it cleaned up ok (missing the chin strap and Kokardens)? I think I plan on keeping all three, but it doesn’t hurt to know what you’re working with. Thanks for your help.

i looked a little further and it appears to be a Model 1915 Preußen Kürassier Metalhelme inside it's marked DAMASCHKE 1916 how common is this style??

This was found in the attic of my wife's grandparent’s house. They passed a few years ago and when we were cleaning out the house we came across this helmet and two other German helmets from the WWII era? The other two are more like the standard German helmet I’m use to seeing in old films...
