    That’s what I thought too, but James on here seemed to think it might be police or fire. Didn’t make sense to me, but I’m new in this… Would still love to know more about and I can move it out of this thread if it doesn’t meet the bar.

    Curious what you all know about it. Couldn’t find any info on the face plate… I guess the maker is Carl Zoch. The front plate reads: “UNIFORMIRTES PREUSSI-SCHES VETERANEN CORPES” “BERLIN” under the chin strap.
