Curious what you all know about it. Couldn’t find any info on the face plate… I guess the maker is Carl Zoch. The front plate reads:
“UNIFORMIRTES PREUSSI-SCHES VETERANEN CORPES”

“BERLIN” under the chin strap.

that is a common way to hold on that type of chinscales. the helmet could be pre or post war as they where used up through WWII

I will dig in my Police books when I get a chance to see what more I can find.

I believe that this is an officer's helmet for officers in the army, then reissued to the police forces. Note the 4 holes where a standard infantry spike would have been.
