13th Uhlan Regiment Portraits

This is the one that started it for me. This is an old family photograph that came from a large cache my grandmother had. It is my 2nd great-grandfather before he immigrated to the US from Hannover in 1883 (my great-grandmother was born there). It took me forever to determine what kind of uniform it was, and once I did I was hooked!

Thanks! I like the Ulanka with the Einjahrfreiwilligen epaulettes. The photos look good. Looks like you have at least one from the same photo studio (H Richers).
