Dear all,
Below are some pics of my most recent aquisition: a 15cm shell for a Krupp M16 kanone.

Its height is 726mm
The diameter is 152mm
The base diameter is 175mm

A close-up of the bottom of the shell reveals that it was made in October 1918 by Patronenfabrik from Karlsruhe. SP255 is the manufacturers control / inspection mark and 48 is the lotnumber of the batch to which this shell belongs.
The number of dots indicate that this shell was re-used six times.

My little collection of shells... BTW I am also interested in a 420mm shell!
