With a little help from a collector i now know what it is.

That would match the writing - Rewarded by Joh. Franz Hans, principal (Vorsteher, in the sense of a club executive).

Cool. I picked up a much later version (rectangular in bas relief) from a Schutzenfest or Klub at a Flohmarkt in Liechtenstein a few years back for 2 Euros. I think the one I got was meant to hang on the wall... at least that's how I display it. I'll try to get a photo if I remember. The neat thing is that the artwork is nice and it is named to the winner.
