Hi all,

I had a membership on this forum maybe a decade ago, but ended up getting locked out at some point or another so I started a new name. I thought I would share this as a icebreaker. I like building groupings around my unit marked weapons and this is no exception. I picked up the rifle a couple years ago at a show. Bolt was replaced at a depot at some point, and stock matches. One of my friends happened to have the bayonet so we executed a trade. I've got a slew of other accoutrements to go with this rifle that aren't pictured, as the KAR is one of my favorite regiments. Anyway, glad to be here. I'll try to share more groupings over time.

A great regiment to collect.

I had a 1899 bolt mismatch G98 as well, many years ago. But mine wasn't regimentally marked. That's a really nice one you have there. And even better with the matching bayonet.
Thanks for showing!
