1915 cuirassier spike

A somewhat battered M1915 Jäger zu Pferde helmet but with the cuirassier type spike: an (expensive) opportunity to have a spare spike, impossible to find otherwise, and get at the same time what seems to be a good 1915 JzP helmet.... The color from this spike is very different from the other parts, so I don't think this spike was born with the helmet.

Can't find anything wrong, apart from the spike and the condition perhaps.... Anyway, not my cup of tea.

As James mentioned, this thing has been on ebay for about 25 years.
This was a better deal for a M15 cuirassier spike:

I was monitoring that last M15 Infantry Pickelhaube relic with the Kuirassier spike as well...
That seller didn't know what she ('Princess Plu ') had but obviously the bidders did.
