Very nice condition, looks unissued, nice large size 58 cm. I am wondering though, if the chin strap is not a reproduction ? My basis for this is the thickness...bulges at the buckles, colour, lack of wear and the gaps in the strap at the side posts. My opinion only.

I can post additional pics of the Strap. Regardless if the strap is repro or not the helmet itself is near mint and another chinstrap could be added later on. I will probably leave it just as is.

Beautiful condition. Looks unissued.
I believe that the chinstrap is period but added later.
I have several M15's where the black has worn away on the chinstrap. Especially common on felts it seems.
Congratulations.

John

A very nice M15, and nice marked too. I am with John regarding the chinstrap, so I would leave it as is.
Size is 58, which is quite large, most M15's are of a smaller size.
Congratulations,

Regards, Coert.
