1st or 3rd Guard Ulan enlisted pattern Tschapka

Offered for sale is an enlisted pattern Tschapka as worn by the 1st or 3rd Guard Ulan Regiment.

Nice frosted private purchase style neusilber 1st or 3rd Guard Ulan wappen with original threaded screw posts, washers, and nuts.

There is a nice outline marking from the guard ulan wappen on the front and sides of the helmet.
Both of the wappen attachment holes are enlarged, and there is a smaller size hole located below one of these larger wappen holes in the tschapka body.

Size "55 1/2" penciled into the forehead area. It appears to have a penciled name of former wearer, located in that forehead area inside the tschapka as well.

Liner is fully intact and shows wear and age.

Exterior black finish has had some restoration work on lower back area. Brian L. did some work with re-laquering that rea, and it can be seen in the photos. He also restitched the front visor for me on this tschapka.
