2 new finds . Grenadier

Bought these the other day. The spike top can be unscrewed no extra holes rear peak needs resewing there’s pencil markings on the rear peak but I can’t currently make them out still has one cockade which is nice . The record has such classics as Kaiser Jager March and Von Der Tann. Rob

Welcome. Looks like a Prussian Grenadier helmet. Lots of close up photos but can we add some of the entire helmet? It looks as if the original regimental inked markings on the rear visor have been removed. This is not uncommon as once the war started, the Germans realized that captured helmets revealed the regiments from which they came.

I am working on this piece, both visors were glued on but it will turn out nicely. I will be making a post in the restoration section when I am finished.
