Offered for sale are 2-Prussian Line Officer Eagle Wappens or Front Plates in Gilt Color.
I will sell these separately.
Each wappen has original threaded screw posts attached with the original solder. Both sets of screw posts have the raised "cut" line that runs across the end of the screw post, as we want to see on Imperial German era screw posts on these wappens.
1st Example below has nice mercury fire gilding remaining on wappen. I think that a little sudys ammonia (household cleaning ammonia mixed with liquid dishwater soap) should clean this up to look a whole lot nicer than it does at the moment. It won't remove the mercury fire gilding, it will only clean off all the old dirt and grime and dullness look from the wappen. I'll leave it to the buyer to clean if they wish to or not.
