Exactly, discovered around 1975 at a flea market in Liège. I knew nothing about the Battle of Haelen at the time. Since then I've been to visit the site, the cemetery and the museum. (in 2020 and 2025).

Yes, that day I brought him a helmet with a JR31 spike from the battle on the Gette. A regiment that doesn't particularly appeal to me here in Lorraine.

Yes. The eagle is not from india, maybe from Diethelm König, Kammerbulle.
