I would like to do that Amy, but not sure if Alan agrees. Because this is his topic.
I am no fan of hyjacking someone elses topic

Wow Amy,

It looks like you have 2 of each !!

Love your combat helmets as well .

I have few of each. Just buy them when the price is right. Collection is still growing and am happy to collect.

Why would you want to bury photos of your nice collection in a thread titled as this one is, for a specific marked pickelhaube? :-k

Is it too difficult to start a new thread titled: "My Collection"?

Maybe we could have a separate category titled: "Collections" in the newer "Pickelhaubes" subsection of the forum? It would be easy to find each person's collection thread, rather than burying it into this unrelated thread.

Fantastic collection Amy, many thanks for posting these photos. A great suggestion Alan, I need to take some decent pictures of my collection.

Thanks Amy! I only have 13Pickelhaubes but like them all. My bike, the one you saw in the pics got sold last year.
That is my other hobby, restoring and preserving old motorbikes.
I have a severe history addiction!
:D

Have a nice sunday! :)

Hi Alan, it seems I missed this thread somehow… But wow, what an interesting helmet it is. I hope you can find those kokarden to complete your great helmet!
Making a seperate thread about our collections would be great indeed. I also don't understand why these pictures are thrown into this thread about one specific helmet. I sure don't mind looking at these pics of your great collections, but please make your own specific threads about your wonderful collections people…

tricky responding to 3 posts-------Alan---that is a very crisp Thur IR 71 helmet -----I'll check and look for my extra kokarden''' it will take several weeks...

Amy-----you have a truly remarkable---- PART--- collection.... Were these mostly found in Asia?????????or Australia?? or?

Coert-- your collection exhibits diversity and a promising base ..It all takes time ,luck, and digging... so far great -Sincerely --Alte Helm Zimmer

Hi randolpho

Most helmets were from the States. But they are drying up so now I buy them from all over the world and have my fair share of being cheated like seller never sent parcels or sent fakes and they r good. They refused PayPal and I lost money. So that I'd the learning fee that I got to pay.

Regards
Amy Bellars
