just watched the three part BBC drama "37 days" which tells the story of the period between the assassination of Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand and Britain's declaration of war. The acting was very good, particularly Ian Mcdiarmid (Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars movies) as British foreign secretary Sir Edward Grey. However........I have never been so horrified at the absolute incompetence regarding the uniforms of the Kaiser and his entourage. I don't know who was the military advisor to this (if indeed there was one). A great shame but judge for yourselves. Here is a good (bad) example showing his Majesty and Generaloberst v. Moltke played by Rainer Sellien and Bernhard Schütz.
