I wanted to share photos of one of my favorite helmets with you....9th Dragoon Officers helmet. I picked this up from a collector in Minnesota a while back. I don't have the expertise to view these items as critically as you all do, so I welcome any comments (gently, please) about this helmet. Thanks.

I also was fortunate enough to get a Wurt. officers helmet for a reserve officer for the Train Battalion from the same collection---also a very nice helmet. I will be posting photos of this one as well in a few days. Also trying to improve my photo posting abilities while I am at it. Thanks for the comments. I buy the helmets because I love them and am not always sure they are "correct."
 
The helme looks silver on my screen as well. Probably due to lighting conditions when the fotos were taken. There is a size limitation on the site as really large fotos interfere with the margins of the pages. We end up having to scroll horizontally all the time which is a real pain. This has actually happened on this posting because all of the fotos were placed in a row beside each other. Brian
 
I truly apologize for the mess on the photos. I am still learning the process of posting photos. When I posted these, I (wrongly) asssumed they would be shown vertically, not horizontally, like this. Not sure how to correct this. My next effort will be to post each photo individually instead of all of them together at one time. I find it very disconcerting as well to have to scroll horizontally. It is not what I wanted to happen. If this problem is due to the size of the photos, someone please tell me how to fix this.
 
No problem Abu, no need to apologize. Posting pics here is a problem for quite a few of us, at least you got them on the site. It has also been awhile since I have posted pics so I will probably screw it up the first few times. Tony Schnurr has been after me to take pics of some of my helmets and submit them with descriptions etc. I have to get off my butt and do this. So...no worries and keep posting! Brian

Fixed. All you have to do is hit ENTER on your keyboard after each photo address. Your max photo size is 900 pixels wide, so your photos are about 1/3 the size that is allowed.
