Tony,

I thought since you were now considered an "Officer and Gentleman"... that you would have strayed away form the 'other' ranks stuff.. for the more hoytee toytee officer stuff ??

(all kidding aside......Nice stuff........ thumbs up)

Cheers

Well, perhaps my May 01 update will have a surprise hoytee-toytee officer item to appease you and Joe and Dave and the others who prefer officer items. :salute: :Sir yes Sir!"

Hmm...what could it be?

Gus and Otto it is definately time to warm up the truck and head North. I will provide the Carl Gustaf "door opener". This Tony fellow has wayyyyyyy to much excellent stuff!!! Fantastic as always T. Brian

True, Brian and Gsu. So many things to hang up...

Be sure, it's absolutely not an answer to Tony. Here you are the modest results of my three past months of Ulanobic madness:

A felt ersatz model with fieldgray painted fittings, manufactured by the "Lückenwälder Hutfabriken"

An officier model with maillechort fittings in a very nice condition, with its Haarbush (not on the picture)

Very nice stuff from both of you Chaps - thanks for showing these amazing items. Nice photo's and composition from Tony as per., and Max, the shape of that Officer one is just.....Magnifique!! I've been resisting a Tschapka for some time but this finishes it now......

PS. Max - I think I have to visit Marseilles soon and see these in person!

Cool.... I'll look forward to the pics !!!

Max, could we see more pictures of the Officer Tschapka please? I think what makes these things look so grand is the way those chinscales fall, maybe due to the higher mounting on the shell compared to the Pickelhaube. Theres a real symmetry there.

Hi Max:
I love both tschapkas could we please see 2 interior pictures of the liners of both of your helmets?? Have you ever seen a tschapka with a regular round tipped liner (infantry) in it? regards, Brian
