A Fondness For Felts

Hey Guys,

Here is most of my collection of felt helmets that I have collected over the past 30 years.

I would like a felt uhlan to complete my collection.

The brass Prussian is my only arty so far.

Even collectors like me who prefer older helmets, still love the Ersatz Filzhelme. Everyone seems to like these. Looks great!

I am happy to have the silver Wurt as well.
You don't see those often.
My first felt was the shako .
I won that off of ebay about 20 years ago.
I would say about 3/4 of them were won off of ebay.
The rest came from Randy T
I have 3 others one of them is under construction and the other 2 have been ravished by beast or insects that I received from forum members..
I use the material off of those as needed .
I used a patch to rebuild the helm that is under construction.

I look every day on the ebays to see if any felts come up.
I jump on the non perfect ones knowing that I can repair them.
The pristine felts prices do have a tendency to go out of sight.
But I do have a few pristines as well
