I bought mine years ago straight from a book seller in Paris. I actually had a French teacher from my school phone them up and place the order using his credit card. Forced to study French in High School, I never thought I would use it. However, I would not have received my Masters Degree without passing a French test and I would not have been able to read Larcade, one of the best sources on Pickelhauben.

It arrived today - fantastic book and nice that something out of the UK is genuine (we have such a bad reputation and most of it is quite warranted!!). Just a shame the last time I did French at school was nearly 50 years ago - guess I can use my retirement to learn a new language

Mine arrived also. Still shrink wrapped and with a pre-Euro French Francs price sticker. Bruno recommended these books to me a while ago and I can certainly see why. The quality of the photos is superb and the level of detailed information is extraordinary. My French is pretty rusty, but it’s now going to be taken out and used!
