Wouldn't a General A' la Suite have rounded chin scales?

Did you notice that its from the UK? I've hardly seen any genuine haube from the UK :-k

Yeah, I can't figure that out either. You would think with the Brit's 'in the trenches' since the start there would be a lot of nice ones sent home and I'm sure there are some really fine collections in private hands in the UK, but I really don't know what's up with what comes up on ebay from there. Not that the U.S. is any better!

Yup, a lot of replicas come out of India, but we have a high population of folks from there in the US too, mostly professional people. I think perhaps this helmet may be by somebody who lacks knowledge? You'll notice elongated holes under the base as well. Looks like a non-leather dome as well.

However, I am correct in that all A' la Suite helmets should have convex scales? Any thoughts on this sellers other helmets?
