A Lost and Found Unit??

Hi guys,

I am puzzled by this pic, the guys are wearing various kinds of haubes, tscapkas, busbies etc.
And the card was said to read" Lost and Found Booty 2nd floor"? These guys are germans, right?
Was there such unit swhich task was to recover lost, scattered and stolen headgears?

I do not understand what the photo of these treasures means.
A man on the right, (left of the two officers) seems to be French...

I think this picture shows that back then soldiers had a sense of humour and this looks like a typical army company with more time on their hands. Possibly a post War 'Fun' postcard. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.
