Well, I found a new helmet for my allied helmet collection, a British steel helmet, the 2nd version.
Around 1917, and maker marked FS 115. Complete with it's liner and chinstrap, and the usually missing rubber ring still present.

It is in as found condition, and came from a Belgian seller, who found it on a fleamarket in Flanders.
Happy to have finally found one, and it was very cheap too.

Thanks for the nice replies friends! I am very happy with this one, was on the lookout for one for quite a while, most were shabby, or missing parts, but then this one showed up. Complete, with all its parts still present! It was found on a fleamarket in Flanders, by the seller.
Got it for a very decent price too, so I'm very happy with it! :)

Regards, Coert.
