Dear members of the forum,

Many years ago when I was a teenager I purchased on of my first WW1 artifacts, and it was of course a Pickelhaube.
At this time, there was no forum, no internet...many years are gone and now that I have studied this topic, I have the feeling my first Picklehuabe was not that good...

You will find the pictures below...please feel free to tell me the truth about it, I am ready to hear it now :)

Many thanks

I like it! I used to own one just like it. Yours seems to have been repainted years ago, but that doesn't matter.
All fittings, and the wappen are okay by me. A nice steel ersatz helmet. Liner has some repairs, but a nice helmet none the less.

Regards, Coert.

I agree with Coert,
Not completely "untouched" as the helmet seems repainted, the Reich Kokarde might have the white repainted too, and the liner repaired, but everything looks original and in good condition, so a nice helmet.
Regards,
Lars

Many thanks :)
That is a good surprise...I was not expected it to receive such good feedbacks.
Taht is the best news of the week !
Would you say that even the chinstrap looks original ?
