Here is another Hessen Leibgarde Infanterie Regt 115 haube with some serious issues and once again its a real shame. The condition is poor but look at those horrible globs of glue on the inside helmet pics holding the fittings to it. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

For me the spike may be hessian but not 115.
115 spike is higher and have 5 holes.

Although the pictures leave much to the imagination, Yes, you are correct, it should have 5 vent holes around the spike base.
