Adler's Imperial bunker enlargement

Well, it was a while ago I realised the bunker was a bit to small to get all these helmets on the right shelves... I had the chance to add about 15 m² and even now it's only just enough, but everything is better displayed imo...
Some new glass cabinets were added and the old furniture was rearranged a bit... The pickelhauben are also organised by state and some other changes are made. Result: bunker is full again 8-) ...
Of course I hope the enlarged bunker will be to small soon, this would mean I found a lot of new goodies :P ...
Anyway, here are some pics of my enlarged bunker... Enjoy...

Absolutely first class.....

I'm glad to see that you didn't take any display/presentation tips from the owner of the "museum" at Hill 62/Sanctuary Wood :D

The picture of the grand Duke of Baden has me drooling. Clearly you have too much stuff–all in great condition–and we, as your friends, are willing to store it for you. You'll have so much more room! And we won't charge you… much.

absolutely jealous and in complete a awe of this. i had no idea how serious of a collection you had. my girlfriend (and she is german) would not let me have something like this. you have a museum.

Isn't that Alfons? Those are his tunics if I recall. Nice selection of rifles Karel. Can't find a Commission rifle here in Canada no matter how hard I look. I see you have a "thing" for bayonets as well..

Thank you for posting. That is one hell of a collection. Extremely well presented. I will be looking at this series of fotos multiple times to make certain that I have not missed anything. Great!!

WOW... Really great. I really like your pelzmutze and your attilla. Well I really like everything:)

Thank you very much for showing.

I am gassing up the truck, I think there is a weak spot in the north wall.
Outstanding collection, thanks for posting, did all this come from the garden?
Best

Thank you very much for your nice comments gentlemen!

It's indeed Prinz Alfons von Bayern, as Tony already stated.

we, as your friends, are willing to store it for you. You'll have so much more room! And we won't charge you… much.
Thanks for the offer Joe... I guess you must be a true friend, because you won't charge me much... Can you give me some discount then? 8-)

I see you have a "thing" for bayonets as well..
Yes, that's true, but I also ave a "thing" for grabenpanzers, steel helmets, rifles and so much more :D ... That's why we end up in our bunkers I gues...

I really like your pelzmutze and your attilla.
It's a summer attilla and Pelzmutze from the Saxon Husaren Regt. Nr. 20. As you know this regiment was anly raised in 1910 and therefore they only have worn feldgrau uniforms.

did all this come from the garden?
Sorry, can't tell everything... but a lot has something to do with the garden... How did you know?

I see tags on the rifles. Do you catalog your collection? If so, I do too. I use a system similar to the one used at the Wisconsin State Hysterical Society, where I worked as a work-study student in the 1980's.
Yes, I've visited this thread many times as well. As nice as any museum.

:D Ron

Thanks again gentlemen!
Ron, I think it's not possible to collect without a sort of catalog system... I already do this since the seventies and it makes it very easy to find the info you need about a piece you purchsed 20 years ago...
