Adrian M15

I too caught the Belgian Adrian bug. And sometimes miracles happen.

Found this one two hours from my house so four hours of driving to pick it up last night but well worth it, as it only cost me $40 Canadian so about $30 USD.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

I wonder what hit the soldier on the top of the head, but I bet this helmet saved his life? No name in it that I can find but I love it!

Cheers.

Peter

Wonderful helmet and a really cheap cost. Congrats.

A beautiful helmet, I have seen most are in their original paint configuration, when did colour configurations change ? WW1 or later? Please see my latest, it appears overpainted. Thanks in advance for any additional information.

I think yours might have been repainted for use in WWII. I also have one on the way now in a similar colour. Have the Belgian Adrian bug now too. Not as infectious as the Pickalhaube bug but…..

Wondering if the original paint would be underneath mine? Does not look like it from the area with the large piece of paint missing.

Hello Pete,
Your helmet has been repainted in green.
That color was used by the Army in the 1920s until the model '31 was introduced.

Not my period of interest but love the Lion especially on the Cavalry helmets (y)

Congratulations always glad to see happy collectors
