Hello,

I just give myself a lot of photo (all original) from Tony Orta archive on the time of flight of aircraft in Tanganyika (1916-1917). This Belgian squadron bombed Kigoma and Graf Von Goetzen with 827 Short seaplanes.

Fascinating campaign. It meant very little in the big scheme of things to the Germans but tied down thousands of British and South African troops, and even Portuguese and Belgian soldiers too! Interesting part of the war that is totally overlooked.

Just a pitty forum member tabora vanished!...
He removed most of his pic's on several fora he was on.
Put up greatest part of his collection on ebay, and removed it the same day and left me with some unfinished buisiness....

Apparantly he did it again, yesterday!
Putting up a pith helmet for sale and removing the item a few hours later!??

He again had like several biddings on photos and equipment and draw back those items for the "x" time......
Don't understand ebay allows such behavor, it gives potential buyers a bad feeling and ruins it for honest sellers.

sorry for not being more active on the board.

I had the joy, after many difficulties to hope to be a father .... but my child, my daughter Isobel died after some health problem this 17 june 2014.

I confess to have had more flavor to the collection, hence my desire to sell everything.

I'm not still recovering today.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss and don't rush yourself or feel bad for 'not recovering' after such a terrible experience, it may take years before the pain goes away and even then you will still feel sad, it's normal. I know people would love to purchase your collection, but my advice is to hold onto it for a while and see how you feel in a year or two, if that's possible. There are a lot of reasons for becoming disinterested in a collection, hobby, etc, after a big emotional tragedy and you might want to just weather this terrible storm for a while.
