An english pickelhaube

Help me pleas. I have in collection this cartoonphoto from 2007.
My collection's target is imperial german period. I would like to identify this english mann and his unit and if possible the exact period time.

Finally the exact answer. So if I have correctly understood, the photo is from the dutch east indies in the period from 1894 to 1910 and the militar show in it is a private of dutch army... cavalry or infantry?

The cartoonphoto is 14,70 cm x 10,20 cm

You are right. The medal appear to be the german 1904-08 South West Africa Campaign Medal. The ribbon is the same and the close-up show it without doubt.
For the sword knot I'm not sure it is a german knot. It looks the same or nearly...

The sword is a Dutch infanterie model M1897 for privates and the knot is also Dutch for privates
