Finally, a replica that's described as such.
There are honest sellers on eBay. :thumb up:

But wait, there's more...

Whoever is making these helmets doesn't seem to know (or care) exactly how the real thing looked.

You should be glad they don't care.

If this interest becomes remotely as bad as the Nazi hobby has for it's fakes and junk, then my collection is Hermann Historica bound and I'll never look at anything like them again. Nor would I want to.

IT must be absolute hell for these Nazi 'collectors'..It's quite funny when reading some of the replies on other forums about this subject.... What really stands out is the way these'collectors' hang onto every word of just a few individuals. I remember before the advent of the internet, These individuals were like Angler fish, they just sat there in their lairs 'junk shops' waiting for the unsuspecting, then gobbled them up
Even then they had their few faithfull buddies backing up everything they had to say. As with everything in the collecting world. Nothing can take the place of educating yourself on the subject. NOBODY knows everything about everything so occasionally you might gobble up the Angler fish. But don't bet on it.

Yes, it's a good thing that the Indian-made helmets don't look too realistic.
But they're generally so bad that it's amazing anyone falls for them.
