Gents,
I thought I would show an Imperial Bavarian Landespolizei Tunic that continued to be worn until circa 1936. This wool twill tunic is made in dark green (Stahlgrunem) with a black collar and narrow green collar tabs. It was worn with black trousers or breeches. It has smooth (glatt) white metal buttons throughout with Bavarian Police NCO shoulder boards. Later versions of this uniform had black collar and cuffs but this early version did not. Notice this version of the tunic has French cuffs rendered in the same Stahlgrunem colored cloth.
