Can you imagine going with low expectations (and not so much euros in your wallet) to the biggest militaria fair in Belgium and then you find a super rare birdie :( ? Well, that's what happened to me the last time in Ciney :oops: ... One moment it gets very hot and the other moment it gets freezing cold :-k ...
After some "Ciney Brune" beers :-" and some serious negociating, I was able to bring this beauty home...
I can present you an M95 officer's pickelhaube of the Anhaltisches Infanterie-Regt. Nr.93. My 20 year quest has finally ended, now the search for a nice IR92 can begin \:D/ ...
Maybe much can be told, but the pictures will do the work I hope...

I remember this helmet very well form Kassel this year.

Nice, even though not cheap...

Good IR 92 are hard too find. Good luck!

Thanks... but I didn't say it came cheap... It's usually what you pay is what you get, with pickelhaube it's the same I guess :-k ...

What a beauty, Karel you have so many nice ones, I really like the Anhalt wappen and the all-green Kokarde :thumb up:

I'm sure it wasn't cheap, but you are ahead of the game...you get to own it for awhile \:D/
