I have it it is an old book and I don't think there is any new information that a collector at your level would find useful.

But if you would like any specific information I can dig it out and would be happy to tell you anything at all. If i remember correctly it is full of line drawings and not a single actual photograph of a helmet.
Im sure it was helpful back in the day and i remember reading it years ago but with the reference books out today with hundreds of photos of original items both inside and out this one shows it's age.

Ik like it a lot, and once posted about it,
It was my first reference book when a student (25++ years ago) , overview of all belingerant countries with info concerning types of headgear,
Beautiful drawings, but for experienced collectors no valuable information
I will always treasure my copy

Another nice book for the library!

-Ordered from 🇦🇺 in the 🇺🇲; from the 🇺🇲shipped to 🇨🇦; flown from 🇨🇦 via 🇮🇪 to 🇧🇪...
-Handed over to me today in Ieper/Ypres Flanders-Belgium-Europe

Excellent early reference. The authors two books on Austrian field caps are excellent. Not only very informative as per the topic but also enjoyable to read. The author adds a bit of humor not often seen in resource books. I often re read them and always learn something I originally somehow missed
