This one's trying to be an Oldenburg officer helmet.

Nothing about the helmet is original, all the metal parts are poor quality replicas, and the leather body is also a modern made replica. This one has a bit different liner than what we normally see on these made in the UK replicas.

This is the first time I've seen one of these that doesn't have a green cloth liner in it. And the undersides of the visors is not covered in red/green like we normally see. This must be the "cheaper" version.

The same one has tons of WW1 german items for sale, and hence you can hardly suspect a honest mistake from a layman. He shows excellent pictures of his other advertised articles, whereas photographs of this one are awful. He also offers another similar terrible officer helmet reproduction, but that one is properly advertised as a copy, for $ 350... You may wonder what crossed this seller's mind when he posted this!
 
He had 4 of them 2 sold buy it nows straight away. I had to have a close look then dismissed them. Rob
