Ok boys....

Do I have to worry about any of you while I chase this one ?

And... it also answers a question that I had..... when did the split brads come into existance for the stars.....

This helmet looks as if it was nver touched.... and the lable has a date of 1896... and it has the split brad stars....

So..... it appears that they were used way before wartime.....

if you are really interested, I would ask the seller what is going on with this one.

It has been listed twice earlier this week, then cancelled and relisted again??

It was over $1200 before.

Probably OK, but I would make sure

The last time he canceled it..... the price was at 1200.... and all he did was add two pictures to it....... I didn't know it had been listed before that.....

Yes I was.... but I also think I set a new record for a Prussian Officer's helmet (which I'm not real pleased about).......

I'll post some pics once I get it and clean it up a little.....
