I am going to be in Orlando at the Military Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference November 25-29, 2007.

Anyone live near or in Orlando? Tony

Tony:

I live in Jacksonville, about 1-1/2 hours away. If you have any interest, I could call Bob Scott and Mark Avery, who live in Orlando, and see if we can meet for dinner one evening.

Dave

Thanks Dave, that seems too far away just for meeting, we'll hook up some time soon when we are both in the same city. Yes?

I sent an e-mail to Bob and Mark, I would love to see their collections, hopefully they will call me here at the hotel. T

how does one get courses in Florida? I can find ones in Europe , Ah crap for active member's only.

P.S. hope you enjoy the weather , bring a rubber dingy for home.

Arrrrgh!! No wonder my taxes are so damn high. California was bad enough but now you're swanning off to FLA on the public nickel!! In the mean time, I sit up here freezing in the Great White North in a foot of snow with more coming down every minute! There is no justice. BTW T, have a great time! Brian

Yup. And I though about you freezing you butt off in Ontario, as I paddled around the pool in Orlando sipping some girly-drink with an umbrella in it. Home again now, I was faced with reality and spent two hours digging out after we received close to 1/2 a meter of snow last Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find an agreeable time to meet with Mark or Dave, although Dave called and we had a good chat. Bob Scott, however, hasn't had the courtesy of answering an e-mail in two years so he may be dead for all I know. That is a shame, I hate losing contact with friends, and don't know why?

Thanks T, at least you thought of me while paddling in the pool! I feel better! Brian

Girly Drink? If my taxes are going into this at least drink some real hard liquor . :) . Brian , A friend seem's to go to Europe for his courses every year. He is about to retire , but is at RMC taking his BA or second BA.

(sniff) I'm an officer now, remember? Now when I sip a drink, my right little finger sticks vertically in the air for some reason...

And for Dave M. and Mark A., I received an e-mail from Bob S. He lives!
