Anyone looking to 'upgrade' their M1897 Off Haube to M1915?

If I'm not mistaken, the spike base is that of an officer (mainly because of the bayonet spike fixture which also seems grey painted as per regulations)...

The spine notch on the spikebase is pointing toward the front of the helmet---yep, looks like an officer base has been transplanted to an EM shell.
Check out the neckguard. This appears to be a lacquered felt body...or at least its remains.
