Hello,

It seems to be Reserve Artillerie 11.
Could it be Bayern Reserve Artillery Regiment 11 ?
I think Bavarian Artillerist wore the top ball in 1916...

I have no answers but thanks for the posting. I have never seen one of these for sale before. Brian
 
Here is another possibility.

Perhaps it does not say R11 -- perhaps it is from second Bavarian corps BII??????

The green cross on the front of the Uberzug was supposedly reserved for the Landsturm. According to the AKO there should be the Battalion number under the cross. However that did not always happen as can be seen by this picture.

Perhaps the top of the Uberzug was for a spike? Interchangeable?

I do not pretend that I know the answer this is just another possibility.
