To place it into context, that would be like you buying the Kürassier M15 helmet you covet, that has been turned into a table lamp with lights soldered to three sides.

Coupled with the below (horrors) in case of power outages; why not?! 
Believe it or not, I remember seeing the German sword candlestick set online selling for over $600!
Even if I had it for free, I'd probably get rid of it as otherwise I'd spend the rest of my life picturing the 2 swords before their amputation or even worse, trying to find good blades to fix them! So yeah, I understand what you mean Mr. Schnurr...
