Assistance with helmet markings

I would like to ask for some help wiht helmet markings. I just picked up my second pickelhaube. It is stamped on the right side of the neck-guard as follows:
BJA VIII
1918 F

Ink stamp 68R

The left side is marked:
Ink Stamp
B
65

embossed F


any assistance would be welcome

Thank you Joe. This information is great and very helpful. It's like finding out who once owned or wore the helmet. So if I follow thing correctly, the helment was turned in, checked or repaired and found serviceable in 1918. It belonged to the 68th Inf Reg.

I will have to check my other helmet for makings.
